Molland House is a true countryside idyll and has acres of space to explore and enjoy but it is also lucky enough be tucked away in a fabulous part of the country, rich with attractions and incredible views.  The National Exmoor Park has over 1000km of footpaths and bridleways  with Molland Moor being one of the best places for seeing red deer and wild Exmoor ponies. The ancient Tarr steps walk with it's famous clapper bridge across the River Barle is perfect for spotting dipper, kingfishers and perhaps even otters. Within a short drive you have the extraordinary north Devon coast line with dramatic beaches perfect for walking, bathing, rock pooling or surfing. There are many National Trust houses and gardens to explore nearby, as well as plenty of historic and charming villages and market towns with antiques shops and farmers markets.

There are plenty of good restaurants and pubs to visit. The nearest pub, The London Inn, being some hundred metre walk from the house in Molland Village.
