Molland House is a Victorian farmhouse recently completely renovated to be used as a privately let summer holiday home and luxury winter shooting lodge.

A large house, with adjacent converted barn Molland House is perfect for family holidays or special occasions, furnished with your comfort and quality in mind. Designed to feel luxurious yet welcoming, somewhere to kick off your shoes and relax.

There are ten en-suite bedrooms, between the main house and the separate Linhay barn, a large sitting and dining room and an 11m panelled games room with plenty of seating and a well stocked bar. The traditional family kitchen with Aga has a separate service kitchen adjoined for external catering if required and there is separate accommodation for staff if needed. The house has good Wifi and all bathrooms have hot water from powerful showers and indulgently big baths.

The renovation of the house considered both utmost quality and a sympathy of its history. Victorian features such as the chequered tiled hall and fireplaces have been kept and interiors are decorated in a mixture of neutral tones with accented wallpapers and colour details, and wood panelling and cornicing in several rooms.

Designed as a luxury home from home yet a spoiling party house, Molland House has all the quality to really enjoy with a group of friends but is equally child friendly and has bedrooms with stair free access. The house has beautiful grounds with a large garden to explore and relax in. Importantly the house is dog friendly so we can welcome your whole family.

Molland House sits in the village of Molland on the Throckmorton’s 6000 acre estate in Exmoor. With a true feel and beauty of ancient countryside surrounding it, the house is a real rural idyll. Tucked at the end of a private drive yet within easy reach of the dramatic Devonshire coastline and with many other fantastic places to visit, whether for shooting, walking or simply relaxing Molland House is the perfect getaway.
